The Maryland Science Center is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing informal science education to the citizens of Maryland and throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. We are the only cultural resource in the region focusing on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) learning.
Your donation to the Maryland Science Center supports our mission to advance the understanding of science and helps to underwrite free and reduced admission for Maryland school children and underserved residents of the community.
Whether your donation is unrestricted support through the Annual Fund, membership in the Sondheim Society, attendance at a special event, or a bequest – every gift is an investment in our future.
Donation Types
- Annual Giving - Gifts to the Annual Fund provide vital operating support and help to sustain and grow our Education and Outreach programs.
- Sondheim Society - Our premier giving club for individuals making a generous contribution of $1,000 or more to support our Education mission.
- Contributing Membership - Contributing members receive the benefits of membership, including unlimited free admission and discounted tickets to IMAX and special exhibitions. A portion of all contributing memberships go to the Annual Fund in support of education programming.
- Legacy Giving - Consider including the Maryland Science Center in your estate plans.
- Summer Solstice - The summer Solstice celebration is our annual fundraiser. This year, all proceeds will support free admission for Maryland school children.
