In addition to the hands-on touch wonder experience the facility itself provides–the Maryland Science Center offers a wide array of additional programming for educators, families, homeschoolers, and outstanding professionals in the science and engineering fields.
Educators
Earn professional credits through our Teacher Workshop series, receive free admission to the Maryland Science Center just for being a Maryland teacher, find additional resources and programming to increase your education plan.
Camp-In
Camp-In is an overnight event for Junior Girl Scouts (4th and 5th grade), WeBeLos Scouts (4th and 5th grade), or School/Youth Groups (4th and 5th grade). Camp-In combines an indoor, overnight adventure with exciting, interactive science education.
Camp MSC
Give your kids more time to experience science with one or both of our extended experience packages. Camp MSC allows you to choose from week-long full day and half day programs.
Homeschoolers
Each year the Maryland Science Center offers home school programming. Programming in the Planetarium, Learning Lab, IMAX and more take place during these exciting weeks.

Outstanding Young Engineer
The Maryland Outstanding Young Scientist (OYS) and Maryland Outstanding Young Engineer (OYE) award programs were established in 1959 to recognize and celebrate extraordinary contributions of young scientists and engineers in Maryland.

Glass Scholarships
Each year the Maryland Science Center awards two scholarships to Baltimore City Public High School Seniors pursuing post secondary studies in science, technology engineering or mathematics.
