Members visit free all year long. Plus they help the Maryland Science Center continue to be the best it can be through cutting edge exhibits, presentations, and large format films. And, your contribution is tax deductible. In addition to free exhibit hall admission, members enjoy discounts on IMAX film admission and admission to national touring exhibitions.

4 or More Saves You 20

Planning your visit to the Maryland Science Center on Sunday through Thursday this Summer?  If you are, you can save $20 if you buy your tickets online.  Just buy four or more tickets through our online ticketing center and receive a $20 discount in your checkout basket.  Tickets can be purchased for visits on any Sunday through Thursday.  $20 discount is applied to final transaction at time of payment.    
   
Not valid for IMAX only purchases.  Must purchase a minimum of four tickets online to receive $20 discount.   Not valid in conjunction with any other offer.  Online purchase only—no on-site purchases will receive discount. Offer expires August 31, 2010.

Fridays After Five

Admission for Fridays After Five includes the permanent exhibit halls, planetarium, and IMAX Theater on Friday evenings beginning at 5:00pm. In celebration of the Inner Harbor turning 30, we are rolling our prices back to $5 in September and October when visiting during Fridays After Five. Fridays November 5th through March 25th, the Maryland Science Center is just $8 for admission during Fridays After Five.

One low price covers everything except national touring exhibitions. IMAX presentations are at 7:00pm, Planetarium presentations are at 5:40pm, and Demonstration Stage presentations are at 6:20pm. Children under 3 are always free. Members are admitted to Fridays After 5 free of charge. Fridays After 5 hours are 5:00 p.m. - 8:00p.m. There are no advance ticket sales for this program.

Free Admission for Maryland Students

For the 2009-2010 school year the first 45,000 Maryland school children are admitted to exhibit halls free of charge when visiting with their school group during the school year. Once admissions reach 45,000, students must pay a modest admission fee. In addition, field trip planners can add IMAX films, planetarium presentations, enrichment experiences and Observatory programs for very low additional fees.
